What is Table Top Swap?
Table Top Swap is a community-driven platform that helps tabletop gamers trade board games, card games, puzzles, and other tabletop items with fellow enthusiasts. Our goal is to make discovering, trading, and enjoying tabletop games easier than ever.
How does Table Top Swap work?
It's a few simple steps:
- Create an account.
- Add games to your collection.
- Browse other members' collections.
- Send or receive trade proposals.
- Agree on a trade.
- Ship your games and enjoy something new.
What can I trade?
Table Top Swap currently supports board games, card games, and puzzles. Items must comply with our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.
Can I sell games?
At launch, Table Top Swap is focused exclusively on trading — helping gamers exchange games they no longer play for games they'll love to play next. Future features may expand the options available.
How much does Table Top Swap cost?
Creating an account, building your collection, and browsing the community is free. If any costs apply to a particular trade, you'll always see the full total up front — before you confirm anything. No surprises.
How are shipping labels handled?
Table Top Swap provides a third-party shipping label through the platform for your trade — just use that label to ship your games. You're responsible for packaging items securely and shipping them within the agreed timeframe.
How should I rate my game's condition?
Use the in-app condition guide to describe your game accurately. When in doubt, rate conservatively and include photos of any wear, damage, or missing components. Accurate listings help prevent misunderstandings and build trust within the community.
What if a game is missing pieces?
Missing or replacement components must be disclosed in the listing description. Failing to accurately describe a game's condition may result in reports, account restrictions, or removal from the platform.
Does Table Top Swap inspect games?
No. Users are solely responsible for accurately describing and representing the items they list.
How do ratings work?
After a completed trade, both users may leave feedback. Ratings help build trust within the community and let members make informed trading decisions. Repeated policy violations or consistently poor trading behavior may result in account restrictions.
What should I do if something goes wrong?
If you experience an issue during a trade, use the Report Issue feature within the app. Examples include:
- Misrepresented game conditions
- Harassment or inappropriate behavior
- Failure to fulfill an agreed trade
- Suspected fraud or scams
Our team reviews reports and takes appropriate action when necessary.
How do I report a user?
You can report a user, listing, or active trade using the report feature available throughout the app. Please provide as much detail as possible to help our team investigate.
What happens if someone violates the rules?
Depending on the severity of the violation, we may issue warnings, remove listings, restrict trading privileges, suspend accounts, or permanently ban users. Our goal is to keep the community safe, fair, and enjoyable.
Is Table Top Swap responsible if something goes wrong?
Table Top Swap provides the tools that make a swap possible — matching, payment, and shipping — but is not a buyer, seller, or party to swaps between members. The swap itself is between you and the other member.
If a swap goes wrong, you can report it, and we may review it and decide what to do. That review is something we choose to offer, not a guarantee of any particular outcome. Depending on what we find, we may refund some or all of what we charged you, issue a platform credit, issue a strike or suspend an account, or close the report without further action. We cannot force another member to cooperate.
Any refund is limited to the amounts we actually collected from you — the shipping you paid for and the platform fee. We do not compensate members for the value of a game, its replacement cost, or any loss beyond what we charged. Members participate in swaps at their own risk. See Section 6 of our Terms of Service for the full detail.
How do I delete my account?
You can request account deletion directly within the app through your account settings. Some information may be retained as required by law, or for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and enforcement of our policies. For help, contact [email protected].
Is my information private?
We take privacy seriously. Information collected through Table Top Swap is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and is used to provide, maintain, and improve the platform. Please review the Privacy Policy for complete details.
Is Table Top Swap affiliated with BoardGameGeek®?
No. Table Top Swap is an independent platform. Game catalog information may be provided in part by BoardGameGeek®, but BoardGameGeek is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for Table Top Swap.
